Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show - Madonna

What can I say…It was epic. Madonna really did put the best show on earth and looked fierce as always. Haters will talk but I hope that when I’m 53 I get to look & move just like her. Such an inspiration.

The best dressed at the Golden Globes 2012

1. Charlize Theron in Dior Couture - Let’s be honest, she can wear a paper bag and still look stunning. Her headband was adorable as well.

2. Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang - Our favorite Colombian of all times. Seriously, this girl is hilarious and she can do no wrong in our eyes. Oh and also she was wearing more than 5 million dollars of jewelry by Harry Winston.

3. Rooney Mara in Nina Ricci - Rooney makes pale look good. The gown was simply stunning and she’s definitely becoming one of the best dressed girls in Hollywook pretty fast.

4. Kate Beckinsdale in Cavalli - Speechless. She’s drop dead gorgeous.

5. Julianne Moore in Chanel - Simple and elegant as always.

6. Debra Messing in Monique Lhullier - She always knows what looks good and we’re pretty excited to see her new show “Smash”

7. Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace - There’s no doubt she’s beautiful, but she needs to eat a sandwich. Her arms are about to fall off.

8. Elle “The Body” MacPherson in Zac Posen - She’s a supermodel. Gorge.

9. Kate Winslet in Jenny Packham - She’s the definition of elegance.

10. Jessica Alba - We want her skin. Seriously, how is she glowing? If someone knows what lotion she uses, please let us know!

…And special mention to Stacy Keibler (George Clooney’s GF) in Valentino - She makes me want to become a wrestler. So pretty.

The Worst Dressed at the #GoldenGlobes:
1. Piper Perabo - If there would be wind in L.A. we’re sure you would’ve been blown away. Way too much dress…how did you fit in a limo?

2. Kelly Osbourne - I don’t even know why E! hired her to be part of Fashion Police if she doesn’t even know how to dress herself. Plus what’s up with the gray hair? Vom.

3. Madonna - Love your song “Masterpiece”, so happy you got the Golden Globe and we’re sure you’re going to put the best show for the SuperBowl but there are two things you have to understand: You’re not British and you need to let your boobs breath…you’re suffocating them with that dress.

4. Michelle Williams - I’ve come to terms with your short hair, but your fashion choices are still killing me.

5. Sharon Osbourne - Mother like daughter. Daughter like mother. Enough said.

6. Missi Pyle - Horrendous.

7. Sarah Michelle Gellar - You can’t let your child pick your clothes unless their name is Suri Cruise.

8. Tilda Swinton - I just don’t get it.

9. Amanda Peet - You look like a wedding cake…but love the hair.

And there’s no #10. I’m sorry I’m tired of looking at disasters. These people need to fire their stylists and call me. Seriously.

Hotter than ever: Brad Pitt.

Recently Brad hasn’t looked his best since he has been walking around town with a cane thanks to an accident he had while carrying his daughter, Vivienne, but he surely shows that he’s still got it on the cover of the lastest issue of W magazine. The cover to me is perfection: Pool in the background, drink in his hand, bow tie slung casually around his neck, his shirt unbuttoned just enough to show some chest and of course his gorgeous face.

On another photo he’s shown lying in bed under plush blue sheets…eating premium crackers. Personally, that photo creeps me out, he kind of looks like a patient that belongs in a mental institution..but hey, when you’re that hot, I don’t mind.

We love fashion. So what job would make us the happiest??
1. Personal shopper - Just think about entering Neiman Marcus, Saks, Bergdorf’s and spend money that isn’t yours. Dream come true. Personal shoppers provide expert advice and give the highest level of customized service possible to individual shoppers. They either work already at the store and help shoppers or there are those who get hired by executives who have too much of a busy schedule to do shopping themselves. You need to have impeccable taste but also need to understand your clients needs and understand their style and help them polish it. In this job, you will develop deep and lasting relationships with your client base, and will proactively communicate with them regularly as a professional adviser. Personal shoppers define the highest standards for service, sales, and customer satisfaction in every retail operation.
2. Stylist - O.K. just imagine having Rachel Zoe’s job. Enough said right, pretty MAJ. Fashion stylists are responsible for bringing to life a photographer or director’s vision for a fashion photo shoot, layout, commercial, print advertisement, music video, or TV show. They create the mood for the shoot by selecting and setting up the appropriate props, clothes, accessories and even models to fit the theme of the shoot. One of the best styling jobs we can think of is working for CW’s Gossip Girl. That show is all about the fashion…they have more parties and galas to attend than anyone else and they dress like they were walking down the runway every single day. Amazing. Then, there are those (like Rachel Zoe) who are personal stylists, who are in charge of getting major designer dresses to their A-list clients for their red carpet events. Entry level salary range – $150 to $200/day, experienced salary range – $500 to $5,000/day, top level stylist salary range – $100,000 and more.
3. P.R. - If you haven’t heard of DKNY’s PR girl, you’ve been living under a rock. She’s our open window to see what happens in the fashion world behind all the glamour that surrounds it. Fashion PR specialists and publicists help companies and retail stores build and maintain a favorable public image by using all sorts of media. They are in charge of producing fashion shows, dressing celebrities, getting press, networking on a daily basis, and pitching creative stories which eventually will lead to getting more press. Stressful job, but it pays off if you truly love fashion.
4. Fashion buyer - Fashion buyers use their sense of style, knowledge of fashion trends and understanding of their target customers’ desire to create an attractive selection of apparel for retail stores. The WSJ did a phenomenal piece of what a day is like in the life of Linda Fargo, during NYFW. Linda is the senior VP at luxury retailer Bergdorf Goodman where she oversees BG’s overall design direction as well as the details of store presentation. She gets to travel around the world sitting front row at fashion shows, visiting designers at their studio’s and mentoring BG’s staff. During a fashion show she takes notes of what could work at BG and what would not, after the show hurdles with her team to compare notes and reserve their picks within a minute. Fun and exciting job!
5. Model - If you are 5’9 this has to be the best job for you. What’s better than to actually getting to wear the clothes, show them off, and travel around the world walking down the runway and posing for photographers. Being a model actually takes a lot of work that’s why I admire each and every single on of them. Like Linda Evangelista once said, “we don’t wake up for less than $10,000 a day.”
6. Magazine editor - The executive editor or editor in chief sees that the company’s editorial policy is carried out. This job is primarily administrative, but the whole magazine—text, pictures, captions, and headings—is the final responsibility of the editor in chief. Editorial staff on a magazine may include senior editors, associate editors, assistant editors, and editorial assistants. These editors may have different job titles, but their basic responsibility is selecting and editing articles or stories for each issue. In other words, editors don’t write the articles instead form and shape the article to fit with the magazine’s image. They decide which editorials to publish and most important the cover.
7. Photographer - To be a photographer you need to have a creative vision like no other. They capture the perfect ”moment” either on a runway or fashion editorial. They work with the best models and direct them to show the beauty of the clothes…After all a picture is worth a thousand words.
